Anna Graeme the daughter of Black Pâté, she was a most bewitching lady of great spirit.

Mix media of linocut and screenprint.
A series of five monotypes.
Last January I went to India to visit my friends where I met a puppy Bobo that they've adopted. When I went back home and reflected my wonderful time in India I realised that all we were doing is bending to play, feed or stroke the baby dog. With this impression in my mind I made sketches for printmaking / collagpraph. On the right of the print there is a silhouette of a dog diving in, and on the left there is a greedy man. Then purely out of experiment I apply colours on top of prints using monotype techniques. The monotype process took me a long time to finish, I took a risk with every layer of colour as I never could predict the result.
This is a unique and unrepeatable piece of artwork.

A collaboration with Anna Kuvarzina. We were commissioned by Olive Loves Alfie - the Independent lifestyle store on Stoke Newington Church Street to create a temporary Halloween Window Display.
Inspired by the classical fairytale narratives and the pop-up books sold at Olive Loves Alfie store we decided to use the media of paper cut-outs.
In the magic forest of the window lives the hypnotic owl, the mysterious full moon and Marimekko-inspired cautious wolf.
